Casto Arce Technologies will participate in the construction of a new flat glass (float) production line in Saltillo, Mexico.
The new plant of the Saint-Gobain-Glass division represents in its first phase an investment of 135 MDD and the generation of 250 direct jobs. This new industrial production line will have the highest technology and innovation that will meet the requirements, both in the domestic and export markets.
The Saint-Gobain Glass plant will begin operations in early 2020 and will manufacture flat (float) glass for the construction and automotive sectors.
The project responds to growing demand in the domestic and export markets for Central America, the Caribbean and North America.
Through this investment, Saint-Gobain reinforces its confidence in Mexico as a country of potential investment. The Group will continue to seek opportunities that allow it to anticipate the needs of the future and provide value-added products and solutions that meet the needs of innovation, comfort, safety and well-being of each of its customers.
This project, which will be carried out in 2019, is a consolidation of the services provided by CASTO ARCE TECHNOLOGIES in the Aztec country.
